Creating a computer case that has the looks of a glass casing is impossible if you don’t use real glass, Just remember those acrylic windows on older PC cases. Any other type of material will not have the same features as real glass. However, not many manufacturers are brave enough to create a case that features glass. First of all real glass adds to the cost of the case and makes it more fragile for shipping. Fortunately for us computer lovers, Corsair has created one great full tower tempered glass case. It’s called Corsair Crystal Series 460X RGB, and it is one of a kind.
Our first impressions of this case are overall good. The price of this case might sound like too much, but you have to keep in mind that it is real tempered glass used on the side and the front. The 460X has some very similar features to the 400C and 600C regarding its great and unique cooling system that everyone loves.
Unique Features of the Corsair Crystal Series 460X RGB
Because it is a full tower tempered glass case, they have implemented some of the best RGB fans into the case. Those fans are giving this case a very modern and unique look that everyone is looking for. The case is coming with a lighting controller for those corsair RGB fans that will allow you to change the colors of the case.
An enormous magnetic dust filter is installed in the top of the case where you can find a mount for a dual fans. On the base of the case, you will find a power supply shroud that will cover the PSU and all the cable clutter. The I/O is located on the top panel for simple use.

Conclusion
The 460X has a quite good and reliable cooling system that brings a little bling with those RGB fans. However, we strongly recommend that you install one additional fan in the rear mount space. This fan will greatly improve your cooling system of the case, and we are not exactly sure why Corsair didn’t do this. The one reason why we think it is not included is simply, cost. Another RGB fan would make the case even more expensive, which would leave their costumes unhappy.
Overall in other areas, the 460X RGB case is excellent, and we are not disappointed with the quality either. You can see that they have put a lot of effort into creating it. After all, it is a tempered glass case that is very durable and more importantly gives a modern, stylish look.
