MasterCase H500P overview for 2017

The thing we were waiting for has finally happened – Cooler Master’s HAF (High Air Flow) series is back again! It comes in the form of the MasterCase H500P, which is a quality PC case with a spectacular design, complete with modular elements, RGB fans, and that beautiful tempered glass we all know and like. As far as we can see it, Cooler Master is trying to breathe some new life into the fan’s old favorites, and this model indeed comes with a certain appeal. Is it one of the best cases of 2017? Let’s take a look!

Interesting Features of the MasterCase H500P

At its heart, this PC case is, fortunately, one of the most user-friendly models on the market. It comes with a wide array of features that are very easy to operate with – you can, for example, move both the front and the top panel, as well as to remove the handy power supply shroud. Some of these features are new, and some are old, but all of them make using the MasterCase H500P very satisfying. Our favorite thing here is definitely the cable management plate, as it can make the overall build look as clean as it gets.

Another thing we really liked is the vertical GPU mounting. The model comes with two PCIe slots, both of them vertically oriented, and you can easily add your graphics card in that way. And you’ll undoubtedly be able to show that GPU off – the glass side panel features a dark matte coating and looks just superb. The front and the top panels, on the other hand, are made out of Plexiglas, but we can’t really take that as a flaw. For this price, you can’t really expect a model without any plastic, and the acrylic windows on the MasterCase H500P actually look pretty good from the aesthetic point of view.

Once it’s turned on, this PC case makes a beautiful impression. The ability to change the color of the two frontal fans is something you’ll fall in love with, and also something that will certainly attract everyone’s attention.

MasterCase H500P is all about nostalgia, but its features and the design make it an excellent choice for 2017. Even though it comes with some compromises, it’s still a well-crafted case that offers a pretty good value for the money. It is a clean, beautifully designed chassis that deserves our recommendation, and, in our opinion, is a worthy successor to the HAF series.
